We understand that registration costs can be a barrier. Westshore RFC has several options for supporting players who might struggle to afford registration costs.

We work with Kidsport Victoria to support eligible players. Contact our Treasurer for more information.

📋 Refund Policy

Westshore RFC recognizes that there are various times when refunds are appropriate. This policy explains our approach to assessing requests for refunds.

Rugby Canada & BC Rugby Dues

Refunds for Rugby Canada and BC Rugby Union dues are outside the purview of Westshore RFC. Players can pursue refunds directly from Rugby Canada and the BCRU.

No Game Played, No Kit Received

If a player does not play a game and did not receive any kit, a full refund will be given if requested in writing within 3 weeks of initial registration.

Exceptional Circumstances

If a refund is requested based on exceptional circumstances outside of their control, the club will determine an amount that is typically pro-rated based on the length of the season.

Examples: season-ending injury, involuntary employment relocation, or hardship

How to Request a Refund

  • Submit your request in writing to the Director of Registration or another executive member
  • The Director of Registration will consult with the program director and president
