The Charko Award
Named in memory of former Westshore player, coach, and parent Jamie Charko, this award honours his legacy of enthusiasm, generosity, and dedication to the rugby community. Jamie was a passionate and selfless member of the club for many years, and his impact was deeply felt by those around him before his passing in 2023.

The Charko Award is presented to a junior Westshore athlete who exemplifies Jamie’s spirit—demonstrating a consistently positive attitude and making meaningful contributions to the club both on and off the field.
